Vectorply, a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-performance composite fabrics, is a privately-owned company with headquarters in Phenix City, AL. Vectorply employs approximately 200 employees between administration, sales and production and produces more than 350 distinctive styles of reinforcement fabrics for a wide variety of composites applications. The Accounts Payable Specialist provides support to managers and employees in Finance and the Manufacturing Departments through a variety of tasks related to accounting. These tasks include but are not limited to: Review, enter and pay all accounts payable invoices. Prepare and post all accounts payable accruals for month end closing. Provide direct support for Finance and other Departments as needed. Produce and distribute manufacturing reports. Track and forecast capital projects. Determine sales & use tax and pay monthly. Review sales invoices for accuracy. Work with Customer Service to resolve any issues. Pay all corporate income taxes and file annual property taxes. Prepare and issue all 1099s at year end. Reconcile credit card statements and balance sheet accounts for month end closing. Assist other departments with accounts payable and system related questions. Other duties as assigned.
